Hello,
There was/is a pop-up museum of food near Borough Market (http://bompasandparr.com/projects/view/british-museum-of-food/) which had an interesting experiment around the taste of chocolate listening to different sounds. Images 9-11 show the room where this took place and you can see people writing down tasting notes after experiencing the sounds in a private booth.
I've no idea how or if this data will be used but it was an intriguing experiment.
Best wishes,

Subject: Music/ sound museums
Dear All,
I am a museum professional and a PhD candidate I am looking for interesting online museums focusing music and/or sound to use as case studies for my thesis. I really find it is very difficult to find things on the web - besides the official pages of the museums. If one googles 'music museums' the only thing that appears are the official ones pages. Besides, these normally do not exhibit music and sound but are rather informative pages of the museums themselves.
So, please, if you are aware of an interesting music or sound web museum/ project, please let me know.
Thank you very much,
Best,
