Sorry about this everyone, I replied to a message from February via the jiscmail website and it looks like I've emailed everyone with no previous post attached for context... If anyone else has any experience with ProQuest for ILL I'd be grateful to hear from you.
Vicky
The original message from Elaine at The University of Sheffield read:
Is any one using Dissertation Express for ILL, from Proquest, to buy pdf's or hard copies of American PhD theses for their staff and students?
We are buying a pdf of theses from Proquest when available and seem to be receiving more requests for these over the pass few months. I've found some information that suggests that if we are ordering for ILL that it may be possible to get these at a slightly cheaper price, see the link below:
http://www.proquest.com/products-services/dissertations/Dissertation-Ordering-Methods-and-Pricing.html
I just wondered if any one had been using this method of ordering American theses and if there are any benefits other than the obvious one of the price.
Regards,
Elaine Wilson

Dear Elaine,
I was wondering, did you hear from anyone in the list about Proquest Dissertation Express for ILL? Did you go ahead with it in the end? US theses aren't something we get asked about every day, but if there's no ongoing fee and a reduction in the price of purchasing theses, it might be something to look into.
Thanks,
Vicky
