The role of 'Head of the Gatsby Plant Science Education Programme' is
now being advertised. The post is based in Cambridge.
Applications are invited for the post of Head of Gatsby Plant Science
Education Programme in the Sainsbury Laboratory, to lead a small expert
team implementing a range of high-profile projects funded by the Gatsby
Charitable Foundation. The post is based in Cambridge.
The aim of the programme is to have big impacts on science teaching in
UK schools and colleges through the Science and Plants for Schools
(SAPS) programme, as well as improving the perception of plant science
amongst post-16 and undergraduate biology students. Candidates must be
able to promote a strong belief in the importance of plant science
education and competently manage a team whilst setting challenging but
realistic targets.
