Dear SPMers,
this November, we will organize a workshop on deep brain stimulation (DBS) electrode localizations using Lead-DBS (http://www.fil.ion.ucl.ac.uk/spm/ext/#lead-dbs; http://www.lead-dbs.org).
Lead-DBS is a Matlab-toolbox designed to localize DBS electrodes based on postoperative imaging (MR/CT) and may be seen as an SPM extension since it heavily depends on and allows for many cross-analyses with SPM.
This hands-on workshop will comprise detailed information about the anatomical localization process, will cover modeling of volumes of activated tissue (VTA) based on FieldTrip and SimBio methodology as well as resting-state fMRI and diffusion MRI based connectomic analyses using Gibbs' tracking from the DBS electrodes to the rest of the brain.
A preliminary program and further information can be found here:

We would love to welcome you in Berlin!
On behalf of the Lead-DBS team,
Andreas Horn
