Hi everyone

Looking ahead to 2016/7, colleagues may be interested in details of the forthcoming Teaching and Learning Enhancement Conference at Abertay, where lots of good and innovative practice is under development! More information below.

"Seeing Learning Differently"
Abertay University's Teaching and Learning Enhancement Conference
Wednesday 19th October 2016: Abertay University, Dundee

Call for contributions

Following on from the success of our first Abertay Teaching and Learning Enhancement conference in October 2014, we are pleased to announce our second such event will take place on 19th October 2016 and is entitled "Seeing Learning Differently". Our external keynote speaker for the day will be Kerr Gardiner Head of Learning Technology & Media Production at the University of Glasgow who will talk about "Moving Centuries - the challenges and opportunities of creating a truly blended learning landscape".

There will also be a number of case studies arising from Abertay's Teaching and Learning Enhancement Fund (ATLEF), which is additionally supported by the Enhancement Themes<http://www.enhancementthemes.ac.uk>.

We are, however, aiming to showcase a range of good practice from across the sector and are looking for external contributions. If you are interested in presenting a "Powered by Pecha Kucha"[1], interactive workshop or short talk, please complete the attached application form and submit to [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> by 12 noon on Monday 20th June.

Registration fees

Registration for the conference will open on 28th June, once the programme is finalised. The cost for attending the conference will be as follows:

Abertay staff and students- £0.

Presenters- £35

External delegates- £50 (registration by August 31st)

External delegates- £75 (registration after September 1st)

External students- £0.

Keep informed

If you do not intend to submit a contribution but would like to be reminded when registration opens please just email [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>. You can also follow us on Twitter @AbertayNetTLE, #AbertayTLE16. Here is what a couple of attendees said about our last conference:
