Dear all,
Please below details of a free one-day workshop on Velomobile methods taking place at the School of the Built Environment, Oxford Brookes University on Wednesday 11th May, 9.30am – 4.00pm.
The focus of this workshop is to assess the contributions and limitations of mobile methods to studying different aspects of the cycling experience. This is an opportunity for researchers to come together and critically reflect on what has been achieved, what remains elusive or out of reach, and what might be done differently in the future as the landscape and research focus of velomobility shift in relation to new technologies (for example E-bikes) and practices (for example new or resurgent bike sports).
The aim is to provide the opportunity to experience first-hand the different approaches being used to investigate, interrogate and interpret the velomobile experience among different users and to generate critical reflection on epistemological considerations and practical challenges of this field of inquiry.
The workshop is free and lunch and refreshments will be provided.
If this sounds of interest you can sign up to attend the event (and find out more about it) using the following link: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/velomobile-methods-investigation-interrogation-interpretation-tickets-24314558499.
