What a wonderful addition to the growing literature that reveals the sustaInability of case load midwifery models and their beneficial effectiveness. When reports like these are read alongside international studies from regions such as NZ who have successful continuity if carer models spanning two or more decades the evidence is compelling.
Relational health care models that demonstrate sustainable practice arrangements are key to moving maternity agendas forward.
Sheila herself would be so happy and proud to see this report.
