On 9-10 June, Royal Museums Greenwich and the Royal Institute of Navigation are hosting the latest in a series of joint conferences bringing together current research in the history of navigation.
'From Sea to Sky' will explore the changes in practices and technologies associated with the transition from the sea to the ‘aerial ocean’ following the development of powered flight at the beginning of the twentieth century. There will also be an opportunity to see some of the related collections at Greenwich.
