"What we provide through Libraries really matters to the communities we serve – and The Welsh Librarian of the Year award is a wonderful way of recognising the vital contribution individuals make to providing that service through their dedication and work. I’d always found the stories of what past nominees had achieved to be inspiring and humbling, so I was incredibly honoured to be the recipient of the award in 2015…it really does feel a very special achievement indeed. There is still so much fabulous work going on in libraries across Wales that I look forward to learning more about through the nominations & nominees for 2016. "
