Hi,
I'm running FSL on a recent version of fedora (23). When I try to specify the design matrix of a large second level analysis the GUI hangs (so I need to kill the process).
Specifically-- specifying a design with 96 participants and 13 EVs, after about 5mins (during which the process "ibus-daemon" runs at 100% cpu) feat generates a blank design matrix. If I then click on contrasts it is slow and then hangs after a few minute (usually before rendering the various rows and columns needed to specify the contrasts).
I am running GNOME 3 which I believe is quite graphics intesive, but get the same behaviour when using XFCE and LDXE which are light on the graphics.
This seems to be specific to fedora 23-- when I used an old version of SLED feat works fine.
I appreciate that fedora 23 is bit too new and it is not really your job to deal with all the various linux distributions, but do you have any suggestions how I could sort this?
thanks
Mike
