Hi Mike,
Since Fedora 23 is a relatively new distro, it is possible that its wish isn't fully compatible with the FSL scripts. Unfortunately we don't directly support Fedora 23, so it may be the best solution to run FEAT on your machine is to create the design ( especially the model! ) on a different computer and then copy the resulting design.fsf across. This design.fsf should then be loadable by the GUI, as long as the model-setup page is avoided.
It might also be worth checking that the installed xorg and graphics drivers are fully up-to-date, in case this is a driver issue
