An exciting opportunity has arisen to undertake a tenure as External Examiner for the FdSc Canine Behaviour & Training, which is due to take place from September 2016 until August 2020 following successful validation. The programme is delivered exclusively by Reaseheath College, and validated by our long standing HEI partner, the University of Chester.
The role in question largely encompasses working with the programme team in assuring quality standards across the provision of this programme, including that which is in keeping with the FHEQ standards, the UK Quality Code and the faculty’s own high standards. An integral part of this process will include scrutinising and providing commentary towards student assessment and performance, moderation processes and student feedback, in addition to inputting on significant changes to the programme structure. It is envisaged that External Examiners will ultimately foster a close working relationship with the programme team to develop programmes that are fit for purpose and which satisfy the needs of internal/external quality processes, our students and the industries we serve.
The appointment is renewable annually up to a normal maximum of four consecutive years’ service subject to satisfactory fulfilment of responsibilities including timely receipt of reports and you will be sent an appointment letter at the beginning of each year of service.
Interested parties should submit their CV directly to Kevin Palmer ([log in to unmask]) for due consideration.
