Since there have been a large number of new subscribers to the list in the past few days, a reminder of some basic guidelines for its use:

- Please keep discussion courteous, and refrain from ad hominem attacks on scholars[hip] (entertaining though this may be for other list users);
- Think twice before 'replying to all';
- If you wish to unsubscribe, follow the instructions in your initial subscription email: do not email the list (veterans of the Liverpool Classicists list will know why I say this!).

The list is a home for discussion on all topics relating to academic research and teaching on Hellenistic Central Asia, and adjacent regions and periods.  Do please also make use of it for advertising upcoming events and new publications.
