CCP4BBers,
Use proteases to clean loops? Is this such a good idea?
To eliminate the proteases afterwards you can always follow the cleaning
method we use:
1. 5M urea. This will denature all proteins and dissolve all crystals very
rapidly
2. water wash to remove denatured protein and urea
3. Repeat if not clean. Amost all loops will be clean after 3 cycles - if
not you will need little cat Z.

P.S. detergent traces are also difficult to rinse.
