AFAIK David Elliot was the son of Sir John Elliot of the Southern
Railway. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Elliot_%28railway_manager%29
He is not the same David Elliot who is part of the Tornado Steam Train
Trust http://www.rotary-ribi.org/clubs/page.php?PgID=55020&ClubID=131
I've already written to him and asked.
There is some ambiguity as to whther the relevant David's surname is
Elliot or Elliott.
Dvorak, who was active around the same time as Bruckner, really was a
railway enthusaist. This is well known and so makes the Bruckner/trains
connection seem more likely.
