In 1986 on Radio 3 there was a spoof talk given by David Elliott about Anton Bruckner and how his music was influenced by railways. http://genome.ch.bbc.co.uk/fb5a95d5a7c0427796f9a8ff239195c6 This link gives the date as 25th May though another reference says 26th May. http://www.steamindex.com/rlycanhist/j34.htm#330-jm This reference also says it was a delayed April Fool item: http://uk.railway.narkive.com/iERKcJPt/culture-dvorak-the-train-spotter I remember hearing this programme whenit was broadcast. There was no announcement that it was a spoof. I would love to track down a copy of the programme. Can anyone help please. Jeffrey Borinsky
