Statistical Issues in Drug Development
I shall be giving my course Statistical Issues in Drug Development, based on
my book http://www.senns.demon.co.uk/SIDD.html with the same name, in
Luxembourg on 10 and 11 May. Topics covered will include, allocating
treatments to patients, multi-centre, cross-over and n of 1 trials, using
baseline and covariate information, measuring treatment effects, determining
the sample size and personalised medicine. The emphasis will be
on why and whether to use particular approaches rather than how.
Mathematical detail will be avoided but controversies will be addressed.
