Dear FSL-list
I have a cohort of 9-11 y old children born preterm and a group of full term controls where we are interested in comparing the resting state networks between the groups. Single session Melodic works fine. However I encounter registration problems at the group Melodic step in my pipeline. Registration for each subject looks fine but I get an “Unique missing-mask voxels” report. When I overlay the masks of each of the 6 subjects in my test run no mask overlay perfectly with any other, rather there i quite som discrepancy. I am not sure how to tackle this problem. It is true that some of these children have slightly altered brain anatomy and scull shape and I am using the adult MNI152 as reference. However since the individual registrations looks fine I thought this should not be the cause for trouble? I have used fslreorient2std for reorientation and bet for brain extraction. I also tried doing brain extraction using a segmentation approach in SPM but this did not change the results.
I very much appreciate any input on how to adress this problem.
Kind regards
