Dear colleagues, 

We have two issues related to e-assessment and wondering if anyone has any ideas/solutions.

1.Create column with 'Exam number' onto Moodle's grading screen
Currently, student names will be replaced by randomly generated participant numbers if you choose 'blind marking'. 
Instead of the above randomly generated number we would like to use the yearly exam number given to students. Did anyone implement this? 
 

2. 'Time limit' option in assignment activity 
The 'time limit' option is already available for Quizzes. When enabled a countdown timer is displayed in the navigation block and the quiz closes down when the time set is elapsed. 

We would like to allow 'timed' essay submission, in a way that the assignment submission portal is open for a period of time (say a week) but students will only have 3 hours to complete/submit their essay from the moment they access the assignment. Did anyone had the same issue and how did you resolve it?
