Hi Starlink experts,
I'm hoping one of you can help me figure out this very weird issue I've
been having with gaia and viewing 3D cubes. A few days ago, I was trying
my hand at some very basic HARP data reduction, just following along the
instructions on the quick guide page. I have no idea what I did wrong,
but sometime during that session, when I tried opening up either the
reduced HARP cubes or the original raw data in gaia, I got a message in
a pop up window entitled 'Information' that looks something like this:
wrong number of columns [filename_cube001.sdf] 00:00:00 00:00:00
{'G32_box' }3 57 57 57 0 1 rea l.lasc ramp.iasc linear 1 1456863872
[full_file_path]_cube001.sdf
and I am then unable to view the entire cube. At first, I thought I must
have done something to corrupt that HARP dataset, but given further
efforts, I think it must be some persistent gaia display setting which
has gotten messed up. Re-downloading my HARP data from CADC, I get the
same type of error message, for either the original raw data or the CADC
bulk reduced data both of which I could open up before (even if I try
putting them in a different directory). I have tried deleting all the
files within my adam directory, including .* files. I have tried
re-downloading stardev (through rsync). And, I've also tried opening up
a completely different cube (SCUBA2 itermaps file). I continue to get
variants on the error message above for all of this. Advice on what else
I can try to fix this would be most welcome, as it seems like I've
managed to completely mess up my ability to view any 3D dataset in gaia
at present.
thanks,
Helen
