This interactive workshop is aimed anyone who wants to communicate science more effectively to the public. This includes researchers, people working in public engagement and outreach, other bioscience professionals and students. Communication skills trainer Dr Emily Grossman is an expert in molecular biology and genetics, with a Triple First in natural sciences from Queens' College Cambridge and a PhD in cancer research. Emily also trained and worked as an actress and now combines her skills in her work as a science communicator and broadcaster.
This event has been approved by the Royal Society of Biology for the purposes of CPD and can be counted as 21 CPD points.
