**RE-SCHEDULED**
Queer Futures Expertise Exchange Conference:
Preventing LGBTQ youth suicide and self-harm
We are delighted that the Department of Health have agreed to fund the re-scheduling of the Queer Futures conference. The new date is Friday 6th May 2016.
At this conference, researchers will be presenting findings from the research study which has investigated LGBTQ youth self-harm, suicide and help-seeking for the past two years. We will then ask those attending the conference to discuss these findings with us to develop policy, practice and research recommendations which aim to reduce LGBTQ youth suicide and self-harm. These recommendations will inform the Queer Futures report to the Department of Health.
The day has been designed to facilitate discussion between ‘experts’. We would particularly like to encourage young LGBTQ people, youth workers, social workers, LGBTQ organisations, health practitioners, health commissioners, teachers, policy-makers, academics or anyone involved with LGBTQ communities to attend. The conference is free to attend. Those who belong to or work for LGBTQ youth groups can apply to have their travel expenses reimbursed (please note: due to budget constraints the maximum claim for travel expenses is £50. Consideration for reimbursement will be prioritised on a first come first served basis).
To book a place at the conference please click on the following link https://queerfutures2016.eventbrite.co.uk and enter in your details.

Best wishes
