Call for papers - 'Modern Dilemmas in Qualitative Health Research'
London, 25th May 2016 10am - 4pm
The Applied Qualitative Health Research Group is pleased to announce its next symposium which will
focus on exploring the processes of doing research in the digital age.
With the rise of digital cultures, for example, e-medicine, telehealth, big-data, online patient communities, googling
symptoms, the organisation of health and healthcare has transformed.
Alongside this, some of the pragmatics of our research have changed - using facebook as a recruitment tool and a source of
data, twitter to discover new work and to diffuse our own work and skype as a meeting venue and an interview setting.
For our next meeting we welcome papers which explore any issue of the impact of digital cultures on
qualitative health research.
We are particularly keen to hear the experiences of PhD students and early career researchers.
The deadline for abstract is 18th March 2015. Please send your abstracts (no longer than 250 words) to [log in to unmask]
