Rob Imrie would like to draw attention to a series of events that the
DisabilityResearchCentre

University of London will be hosting this month and in April and hope you
can come along and/or advertise them.
These include: a series of workshops and a book launch on March 22nd, on
themes relating to theatre, performance, and learning disability. The

Also, Professor Rosemarie Garland Thomson, is giving a lecture on April 6th,
from 17:30 to 19:30 (BST): "Habitable Worlds: Disability, Technology, and

There are discussions in place about setting up a ‘research café’ series of
meetings next term as a focal point for people to meet to discuss research
ideas, etc and more details will be forthcoming, and the DRC is looking to
set up a film evening, perhaps a couple of films in April and May, again as
a focal point for activities.
