Dear Subscribers
Cross list apologies.
I have a pile of books to offer to potential reviewers for Studies in
European Cinema, which, after a transitional period is now ready
regularly to appear again through T&F.
Most of the books that I have are on a national cinema (Italy, Spain,
France, Germany, Ireland, Greece, Cyprus, Austria, Romania, Scotland;
I also have work on Nordic cinemas), with a few on European cinema
more generally, and a few being studies of European 'auteur'
directors.
It would be good to have a few of these books reviewed over the coming
period, and so if you are interested in reviewing something, please
write to me, stating which European cinema(s) you are working on, and
I can propose a title to you.
I'll be asking for a 2-month turnaround, although this does not
guarantee a rapid appearance of review (especially if lots of people
reply to me, meaning I end up with a lot of reviewers/reviews).
However, I shall do my best to shorten the gap between your labour and
the appearance of the review.
I'll happily give early career academics and PhD students
opportunities, but anyone is welcome to review!
With best wishes
William
