Hi all,
Am excited to announce a new Getting to Grips with Games workshop for
museums (or anyone interested) next month in the UK. I ran a Dutch version
this week which was huge fun (described as "inspiring" by one participant,
which makes it all worthwhile) so am looking forward to doing it again over
here
https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/getting-to-grips-with-games-a-workshop-on-engaging-games-for-museums-tickets-23239342499.
It will be at Derby Silk Mill, which is a suitably inspiring location in
itself, on the 18th April.
It's aimed at anyone who might be wondering about games, thinking about
commissioning them, or looking to understand their potential better. We
will play, discuss and make games, and you'll go away with tools and tips
for your own project (including a set of my game mechanic cards). More
details on the link above.
Early bird tickets are £100 (+ VAT) and are on sale until the end of next
Friday, after which the price will go up to £115 (+ VAT). Numbers are
limited so if you are thinking of booking, don't hang about!
Any questions, fire away.
