Subject: Opportunity to Publish
Hi Colleagues,
It is with great pleasure that we announce a new book that we are editing called "Strategic Collaborations Advancing Health Sciences Libraries: Best Practices from the Experts". This book will be published by Elsevier. We are looking for terrific colleagues like yourself to write a total of 6 chapters for the book about unique collaborations in which you and your library/librarians have engaged. The great news is that the chapters aren't due until July 2017. That's right - July 2017. And the other great news is that the chapters only have to be 15 pages in length (275 words per page) for a grand total of around 4,125 words. We know you can write this in your sleep and invite you to do so :)
Seriously, the three areas we are wanting chapters to address are 1) collaborations with others within your institutions, 2) collaborations with other libraries and 3) collaborations with the general public or community.
If you are interested in being a chapter author, we would love to hear from you soon!
And let us know if you have any questions.
Cheers,
Jean Shipman & MJ Tooey
