Yes, the SSE for the corrected version has a maximum value 10x larger than for the distorted. I've checked this with multiple datasets acquired with the same protocol. The only time when the SSE got slightly smaller was when I used a dataset that had highly induced movement. To give you an example of the magnitude of the movement and eddy distortions for these supposedly normal datasets: rotations of maximum 0.01 rad, trnaslations of maximum 0.5 mm and an eddy current mean displacement of max 0.8 mm. By the way, is it possible to detail the eddy current mean displacement plot that is based on RMS? What do the absolute and relative values refer to?
