Welcome to The Emerging Scholars and Practitioners on Migration Issues (ESPMI) Network!
The ESPMI Network connects emerging scholars, practitioners, policymakers, journalists, artists, and all those involved in the study and work related to forced migration though meaningful work, professional connections, and opportunities to publish and access research. ESPMI is a cluster of the Refugee Research Network (RRN), the largest international research initiative in the field of refugee and forced migration studies.
As ESPMI’s outgoing Co-Coordinators, we are looking for committed new members and leadership to develop current initiatives and find a meaningful place and direction for ESPMI within the IASFM body and as part of any independent or partnered projects. A key component of our work is our peer-reviewed e-journal, Refugee Review. We welcome all participants, but also aim to increase membership from outside North America, as well as to increase gender equity. Please look here http://espminetwork.com/projects/ for the key positions we are seeking to fill for a two-year term, as well as our accomplishments thus far.
