Dear Xiao,
for 3D stereo, composite must be disabled in my experience. However, if
you use the gnome3 shell or its login manager gdm, which depends on the
gnome3 shell, disabling composite leads to the session crash that you
described.
The solution is to use a different desktop environment that allows to
disable composite (KDE, XFCE, MATE all work with 3D stereo) and get rid
of all gnome3* stuff.
