NURSING AND SOCIAL WORK – INTEGRATED PROGRAMME DEVELOPMENT
Edge Hill University is seeking to recruit experienced independent external panel members to take part in the approval of new integrated nursing and social work awards, within the Faculty of Health and Social Care.
Event Date: Wednesday 27th April 2016
at Edge Hill University Campus, Ormskirk, Lancashire
Programmes will be four year undergraduate integrated masters awards, with target awards of:
MNSW Adult Nursing and Social Work
MNSW Learning Disabilities Nursing and Social Work
MNSW Children’s Nursing and Social Work
MNSW Mental Health Nursing and Social Work
The awards lead to registration both with the NMC and the HCPC as registered nurse and registered social work.
NMC and HCPC will be in attendance at the validation.
We would encourage academics with expertise related to professional health and social care education, who have experience of quality review processes within their own and other Higher Education Institutions, to apply.
Applicants would need to be a registrant in a field of NURSING or SOCIAL WORK and any specific experience in the delivery of four year undergraduate integrated masters would be of particular interest.
Details of the role:
An External Panel Member would receive documentation three weeks prior to the event date and is requested to provide written comments in advance of the event – they would then attend 1 full day of the event
A fee of £180 (gross)
Overnight accommodation and travel expenses are payable (petrol allowance or standard class rail fare) where attendance is required.
