Dear Colleagues
The department of geography at the University of Aberdeen is collaborating with the Universidad Cientifica Del Sur and the Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru to deliver a four day workshop which aims to bring early career researchers (ERCs) based at UK and Peruvian universities together to discuss how recent advances in the field of Green Economy can be applied in Peru to promote sustainable economic development. This workshop has a number of ancillary themes covering the maritime economy, sustainable tourism and ground transport.
The workshop is being supported by the Newton Fund with resources available to cover the travel and accommodation expenses of the ECRs attending from UK universities. The workshop is scheduled to take place between the 14th and 17th of March in Lima, Peru and the window for ECRs to apply for a place at the workshop is currently open. Additional detail concerning the nature of the workshop and the application process can be viewed at the following URL:
