Hello John,
I had intended to congratulate you sooner on this new achievement, but have
been unwell of late, and not able to keep up with all my email obligations.
A few weeks ago I was diagnosed by chest X-rays in France, as having
pneumonia. After a course of antibiotics, another seris of X-rays in France
concluded that the condition of my lungs had deteriorated. Shadows were seen
in parts of my lungs, but could not be identified! It was suggested that I
have a CT scan. I had a scan in Geneva, but again, three lesions in my lungs
could be seen but not be identified! I am now lined for a lung biopsy to be
taken in a few day's time (followed by histo-path. and parasit. microscopic
analysis). Its all rather worrying for Linda and I, especially as I was
getting lined-up for an aortic valve replacement operation. Thats life! This
is not confidential news.
Cheers,
David B.
