Hi everyone,
We're currently reviewing the processes and policies we have in place for when we film and photograph events at the Royal Institution - in particular when these videos and photos are of u18s and vulnerable adults.
This includes how images, footage and related identifiable information are collected, used, stored and shared (including when it's appropriate to use an image or footage online), so it crosses over child protection and data protection.
What we're hoping to do is to condense the policies we currently have into something more user-friendly, emphasise the most important parts and to ensure we're working to best practice.
We'd love to hear how others are tackling these issues, and so we wondered if anyone had any policies, processes, and/or photography/filming release forms you might be able to share - either directly, or via the list.
Any insights would be much appreciated. And we'd be very happy to share our resulting policies and practices back to the list too.
With thanks,
Cassie
