Dear colleagues,
I would be grateful if you could circulate this notice to relevant colleagues in your institutions - particularly any readers who might usually visit the Taylorian or TABS to do research during the summer vacation.
Many thanks,
Joanne

Taylorian - TABS Relocation Project 2016
At the end of Michaelmas Term 2015 the Modern Languages Faculty of the University of Oxford approved the reintegration of the Taylor Bodleian Slavonic & Modern Greek Library with the Taylor Institution Library. This will involve a considerable amount of work in both sites in order to prepare our collections and library spaces. The project is due for completion by the beginning of Michaelmas Term 2016.
It is our current intention that the libraries remain open for as much of the time as is possible, but there may be occasions when reader access has to be restricted to certain areas. We aim to keep disruption to a minimum throughout the project.
However, we advise readers and visitors that there may be periods where books are unavailable, particularly during the Long Vacation (July – September). If you are intending to visit the library during the summer, please contact us in advance to check whether the books you wish to consult are available.
Further more detailed information will be made available as the project progresses. If you have any questions about the reintegration please contact Frank Egerton, Taylor Operations Manager, in the first instance: [log in to unmask]
