Cardiff University’s School of Geography and Planning is one of the world’s leading centres for research and teaching in human geography and spatial planning. We have an exciting and innovative agenda for both our research and teaching and, as such, are looking to make a significant new investment in recruiting scholars who can contribute to and enhance our existing portfolio of activities.
These new opportunities are designed to complement and build upon other recent investments and to ensure that we continue to provide a vibrant and dynamic environment for world-class research and teaching. Lecturer/Senior Lecturer positions are available within the following areas of interest:
• Economic Geography
• Environmental Geography
• Human Geography
• Urban Design
• Real Estate and Land Markets
In relation to the human geography positions, we would particularly welcome applications from those working in urban, environmental, economic and/or development geography.
These positions are full time (35 hours per week) and are open-ended.

Salary: £40,082 - £46,414 per annum (Grade 7) or £47,801 - £55,389 per annum (Grade 8)
