Salary: £32,600 - £42,488 pa
We are looking to appoint a senior statistician to support the development and analysis of the Trajectories of Outcomes in Neurological Conditions (TONiC) study, involving innovative research examining the interplay of physical, psychological and social factors on quality of life of people with disabling neurological conditions (www.tonicstudy.org).
The post holder will be responsible for analysing the longitudinal data on factors affecting trajectories of health status and quality of life, and will be expected to take the lead for relevant methodological and statistical aspects. The key collaboration already in place is with the World Health Organisation group at Schweizer Paraplegiker-Forschung, Switzerland on the creation of common metrics to map on to the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF).
The candidate should have a PhD or equivalent experience in a subject related area. The post is available immediately and is initially funded by the Motor Neurone Disease Association (UK) for 3 years.
