Dear Colleagues,
Exciting news! As well as establishing a new committee last year, the Alumni Library Forum has a brand new website available here:
www.alumnilibraryforum.com<http://www.alumnilibraryforum.com>
We are asking anyone interested in alumni library services to sign up as official members of ALF, as this will help make our voice stronger. Anyone is very welcome to join, completely free of charge. You will join as an individual member rather than an organisation, but feel free to see who is already involved: http://www.alumnilibraryforum.com/membership/
When you sign up you will receive a password for a special Members Area on the website. Here you will find support and guidance on developing alumni library services, a list of who's on the new ALF committee, information on alumni-licensed resources, case studies, and presentations from previous ALF Conferences. In future, we also hope to share information from research we have conducted into alumni library services.
In addition, you will also receive an e-Newsletter which we aim to produce quarterly.
Join us today: http://www.alumnilibraryforum.com/join-us-today/
We hope you find the new website useful and do send us feedback via our new email address:

Our other reason for contacting you is to launch our survey - we hope to collect information on what alumni library services are being offered by universities, and how ALF might help in that work.
Please take a few minutes to complete the survey. You can access it here or via a link on our new website:
http://www.surveygizmo.com/s3/2541721/ALFCOM
The survey will be open until 6 March 2016 and results will be shared on the website. Your input is important and it will help us plan for future events.
Please note we will also continue to use the LIS-ALUMNI mailing list for discussion and information.
ALF 2016 update:
And finally...we are delighted to announce that the next Alumni Library Forum event will be held at London Business School on Tuesday 10 May 2016. Please save the date, and if anyone is interested in speaking at the event about your alumni library service please contact us at our new email address above. More information on the event will be released soon - ALF members will get priority notice for this free event when the booking opens so that's another good reason to join us today!
Best regards,
Your ALF Committee.
