Arnaud,
At the TPAC in Sapporo we briefly spoke about a way to do content negotiation on RDF shapes (the shape of a resource being orthogonal to the serialisation used). Eventually I got down to write an I-D for a new http header that I chose to call "Accept-Schema". Not knowing exactly where to post it, I discussed with Mark Nottingham and Phil Archer and both of them suggested to move it to a W3C group, specifically the RDF Shape WG, and that's why I write to you.
I think we both agree that there is some overlap with needs articulated in the SHACL WG, particularly UC-38 [1] but also with the proposed Accept-Post header originating in UC-31 [2].
What would be the best way to move this forward? Officially I'm not a member of the Shapes WG (although that could be fixed easily, if necessary) but Karen is and I trust her completely to fill in for me. For the time being, I've put my I-D in a github repo [3], the text version [4] is the easiest to read...
