Vacancies w/ the Centre for the Understanding of Sustainable Prosperity (CUSP)
The Centre for the Understanding of Sustainable Prosperity (CUSP) is delighted to announce that we have now commenced our 5 year research programme. Details of the CUSP work programme can be found on our website at www.cusp.ac.uk.
CUSP aims to explore the concept of sustainable prosperity and understand people’s aspirations for living sustainably. Our ‘working hypothesis’ is that sustainable prosperity consists in the capabilities that people have to flourish as social beings, within the ‘safe operating space’ of a finite planet. Our aim as a research Centre is to elaborate on that vision, test its viability and explore its philosophical, cultural, political, social and economic implications. Over the next five years, CUSP will develop pragmatic steps towards prosperity which can be taken by businesses, government and civil society.
We are currently advertising for six funded PhD Studentships and one Post-Doctoral Research Assistant, details of which can be found below. Please feel free to share this email with anyone who may be interested. Full details of which can be found on the CUSP vacancies page www.cusp.ac.uk/vacancies
