The Institute of Physics Wales is very excited to present a unique collaborative event between storytellers and scientists on the 7th February.
Storytelling is one of the oldest and most powerful means of human communication. Stories fuel our imagination and inspire our curiosity.
In the cosy Gwdihw Café Bar we bring together storyteller Christine Watkins joins forces with Cardiff University's Prof Mike Edmunds and Dr Ed Gomez, to share with us some of science's stories. In one hour we are going to travel through the galaxy, help Kepler find a wife and look at how science and scientists ask and answer questions.
This free event begins at 6:30 pm (giving you plenty time to get there from wherever you watched the rugby) and you can register on our Eventbrite page at https://goo.gl/QWirMP and stay up-to-date with our Facebook page https://goo.gl/4Rm2rE
Hope to see many of you there!
