The Research Training Group ‘Philosophy, Science and the Sciences’, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, is delighted to have the opportunity to host two exceptional lectures.
On Tuesday, 26 January 2016, at 6 pm, Professor Paul Kalligas (University of Athens) will give a lecture on ‘Platonic Astronomy and the Development of Ancient Sphairopoiia’.
On Tuesday, 02 February 2016, at 6 pm, Professor Sabetai Unguru (University of Tel-Aviv) will give a lecture on ‘Past and present, the go-between: Writing on ancient mathematical texts’.
Both lectures will be held at the Topoi building Mitte (Hannoversche Str. 6, room 1.03) and they will be delivered in English. Details of the events are available here:
