Hi Kimberley
You may have seem my previous posts on this, as we also have had some problems, one which Ebsco did sort another we were not so lucky. What we decided to do was go back to Ezproxy and the method where individuals created their own accounts, this appeared to be less troublesome than Shibboleth for us. I am seeing our new account manager in a few weeks I will also discuss the issue with him. I also asked JIBS to raise this at their Ebsco meeting but have not received any feedback on this.
Regards
Vicki

Subject: [lis-e-resources] Problems with MyEBSCOhost personal accounts
Hi All,
Over the past year our users have been experiencing various issues with their MyEBSCOhost accounts (missing saved searches, unable to edit searches, etc). These issues are always specific to a single user and therefore we have issues when the EBSCO support team try to replicate the problem. We use Shibboleth to authenticate for personal accounts and this makes it very difficult for us to work with the EBSCO support team as they maintain that sharing the users log in details is the only way for them to investigate. Obviously our IT policies forbid the sharing of these details so we are unable to do this. We have had some success in the past using the share folder function, however this is not always an option depending on the issue.
I am wondering if anyone else has encountered a similar problem and, if so, how they worked around this issue?
Best wishes,
Kimberly
