Hello Zac
I've had a go at chasing this up with our Librarian here at Historic England but no luck I'm afraid. The problem is that the MoW Archaeological Excavations review was first published in 1961 so it appears there has been some sort of misattribution. AMIE record 631050 also references an archive collection in Rotherham Central Library. Is that perhaps something you could track down?
Sorry not to be of more use
Nick

Subject: Ministry of Works review publication 1958-9
Hi all
I'm trying to track down a reference, and hoped someone might know where I could find the source (or even have a copy!).
It was an excavation conducted by Dorothy Green in 1958 on a Roman road at Adwick-le-Street, Doncaster. This was likely to have been ahead of the construction of Doncaster Bypass. It's recorded in the NMR as activity 631050, but we have no information regarding the results of the work.
I believe details can be found in the MoW review publication 'Archaeological Excavations 1958-9'. Does anyone know where a copy of this might be found?
Cheers
