Senior Research Fellow
The Health Economics Research Group (HERG) is seeking to appoint a Senior Research Fellow for three years at Brunel University London, to take a lead role in the delivery of its programme of research as an External Assessment Centre (EAC) for the NICE Medical Technology Evaluation Pathway Programme. The group has a long-standing and internationally recognised programme of policy-relevant and methodological research in health economics and Health Technology Assessment (HTA). The group is multi-disciplinary in focus, competing at the highest levels in research, and is based within the Institute for Environment, Health and Societies and the Division of Biosciences in the College of Health and Life Sciences.
The successful candidate will have a PhD in a HTA-related discipline and experience in the field. The role will involve managing and co-ordinating the External Assessment Centre (EAC) programme of research, and undertaking reviews of HTA submissions for that programme. In addition, the successful applicant will contribute to the Health Economics programme of research through the development of their own research interests in HTA or health economics.
This is an excellent opportunity for a high-quality researcher who wishes to further their career in one of the UK’s leading health economics teams.
