We would like you to consider attending our GSA Penrose Conference on
Layered mafic intrusions and associated economic deposits that will be
held in Red Lodge, Montana from 8 to 12 August 2016.

We anticipate to be able to offset the actual cost of the conference
through various sponsorships.
The conference will include two days in the field visiting the following
localities of the Stillwater Complex in Montana.
Day 1: 1) Sill/dike and Basal Series at the Hamslice, 2) Ultramafic
series cliff section. 3) Finger structures in large boulder at Mt View
mine entrance, (lunch). 4) Ultramafic-Lower Banded series section. 5)
Inch-Scale doublets/octa-scale layering. 6) Mine core shed view of J-M
reef section. 7) Nye Bar
Day 2: 1) Drive up to Picket Pin (~ 1 hr from Nye), with stop at upper
unconformity. 2) Hike Middle Banded series section (Hess's eggs (I
think), replacement troctolite, AN-II, Picket Pin PGE zone, (lunch).
3)Continue into Olivine-bearing zone V, snowball oiks in N-III,
inverted pigeonite "oiks" in GN-III, 4) Drive down. 5) Nye bar.
