I'm a newbie in using FSL, so I use MELODIC GUI instead of command line. Here's the issue: No matter what I specify as the output directory for the analyzed files in the MELODIC GUI 'Data' tab, I get a folder with some files and another folder within that folder that contains files for the next subject, within that folder another folder that has the files of the next subject and so on. E.g. participant 5 has their files in a folder of ppt 4, ppt 4 files are in a folder for ppt 3, ppt 3 files are in a folder for ppt 2, and ppt 2 files are in a folder for ppt 1. I have tried creating an output folder before running the analysis, creating an output folder only through the 'Output directory' command, and creating a folder with the participant number as the name. Also I get this error message in the unix command line:
cannot read current working directory
while executing
"fsl:exec "${FSLDIR}/bin/feat ${fsfroot}.fsf -D $FD -I $session -init" -b 10 -N feat1a_init -l logs "
invoked from within
"if { $done_something == 0 } {
if { ! $fmri(inmelodic) } {
if { $fmri(level) == 1 } {
for { set session 1 } { $session <= $fmri(multiple..."
(file "/opt/fsl-5.0.7/bin/feat" line 389)
Firefox opens and starts running, but stops after detecting an error:
Child process exited abnormally
FATAL ERROR ENCOUNTERED
If I run the analysis as single session ICA on each subject individually, there are no problems whatsoever. How could I fix this?
