The James Hutton Institute has a vacancy (24 months) for a Crop Modeller to work on a project on the statistical modelling of developmental responses of blackcurrant plants to weather conditions.
A particular aim is to investigate potential effects of warmer winters on dormancy and bud-break in the Blackcurrant crop in the UK using data from a range of field trials and from historical meteorological and crop data.
