Hi Brian,

I am now doing directories for which I previously archived single files as I 
would like to be organized and doing it not numerically is creating problems
in identifying what has been done.

so in dp012 there will be .tar files and they must not be deleted whereas the 
directories can be.

It the task is too much, then I think we should just forget about it.
