Hi Heather
We are only using SharePoint for project sites and for our intranet but I would like to use it for our permanently retained documents as well. It would be very helpful if you could circulate any idea and hints from the listserv if you get any.
Many thanks
Carey

Subject: SharePoint and archives
Hello all,
Does anyone have any experience or advice for using Microsoft SharePoint as a digital repository for archives?
If it's used as your ERMS and cloud storage for active documents in the wider institution, is it feasible to retain born digital documents on there that have been deemed archival after they move from the "active" stage of the life cycle?
Or is it better to transfer the archival documents elsewhere?
Any information you can share would be super. Please email [log in to unmask]
Ta,
Heather
